WINERY:
Vionta is grown on the 80 acres estate of the Pazo de Baión in Vilanova de Arousa, in the cool Galician region of Rias Baixas in the far Northwest corner of Spain. Vionta is entirely produced from Albariño grape. The grape variety Albariño, indigenous to the Galician region, produces white wines of exceptional quality. Because of its scarcity and low yield, Albariño, with its small bunches of medium sized berries, is a particularly prized variety of grape.

Rias Baixas, Spain Origin
Albariño 100% Grapes
The 2001 Vionta Albariño is a pure pleasure to drink. White wine with a distinctive straw yellow colour with lemon highlights. It is bright and clean in primary aromas, intense and frank to the palate, pleasant and with a long aftertaste. On the nose, there is intense ripe peach and green apple aromas. In the mouth, the fruit is lively and intense. The finish is complex and long with bright acidity balancing the layers of fruit. Description
