WINERY:
Fra Guerau 800 years ago, and the land of the Francs, the monk Guerau Miquel came to Montsant in the north east of Spain. Fra Guerau was a good man, an anchorite who lived his quiet life in a cave in the Valley of Silence, and dedicated himself to spirituality. The wine Fra Guerau is named after this monk Guerau Miquel, one of the most historically renowned persons from Montsant, in honor to the Cister monks, and then the Carthusians, who brought the vine cultivating culture to this region.
